Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by Hania Writes ("I", "me", or "my"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use my services.
Services
I provide professional writing, editing, and transcription services, including but not limited to:
- Personal statement and essay editing
- CV and resume writing and editing
- Content and article writing
- Transcription services
Client Responsibilities
Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when requesting services. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you submit does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.
Timely Communication: You agree to respond promptly to requests for information, feedback, or approvals to ensure timely project completion.
Payment: Payment terms will be agreed upon before work begins. Payment is due as specified in the project agreement. Late payments may result in delayed delivery of services.
Service Delivery
Turnaround Times: Estimated turnaround times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Rush orders may be accommodated at additional cost and subject to availability.
Revisions: Revision policies vary by service type and will be specified in your project agreement. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur additional fees.
Deliverables: Completed work will be delivered in the format specified in your project agreement. You are responsible for reviewing deliverables and requesting any necessary changes within the agreed revision period.
Intellectual Property
Client Content: You retain all rights to content you submit to me. By submitting content, you grant me a license to use, edit, and modify such content solely for the purpose of providing the requested services.
Delivered Work: Upon full payment, you receive full rights to the final delivered work for your personal or professional use. I retain the right to use anonymized samples of completed work for portfolio and marketing purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Confidentiality
I maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information and project content. I will not disclose, share, or use your information or content for any purpose other than providing the requested services, except as required by law or with your explicit consent.
Limitation of Liability
My services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While I strive for accuracy and quality, I cannot guarantee specific outcomes, such as admission to educational institutions or employment offers. I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of my services.
Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation by Client: If you cancel a project after work has begun, you may be charged for work completed up to the cancellation date. Refund policies will be specified in your project agreement.
Cancellation by Service Provider: I reserve the right to refuse or cancel service requests. If I cancel a project, you will receive a full refund for any uncompleted work.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use my services to:
- Create content that is illegal, harmful, or violates any laws
- Submit content that infringes on intellectual property rights
- Submit content that is defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory
- Use my services for any fraudulent or deceptive purpose
Changes to Terms
I reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this website. Your continued use of my services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
